Equipment
Geotec owns and utilizes advanced equipment manufactured by the Canadian company Instantel Inc., which is at the forefront of technology. Geotec has a full range of mobile seismographs that include tri-axial geophones, sensitive accelerometers, high frequency geophones for the near zone and microphones for measuring air blasts. Our communication equipment (remote control data transmission) includes line, cellular, radio and satellite systems.
Software
Geotec has purchased Instantel's complete, upgraded Blastware software package. Additionally, we own a variety of mapping and graphic representation software for displaying and producing the results.
